Pendant Lamp Project

This was my first project studying at Northumbria University. We had to produce a prototype pendant light made from polypropylene and uses shadows to give an aesthetically pleasing appearance. My light was based on honeycomb found in a beehive as I could link the project to natural inspiration from nature.

Christmas Cracker

Christmas cracker was a brief set be Hallmark. We had to reimagine the Christmas cracker meaning and interactivity of it. I originally came up with crackers made from flash paper as an alternative to Christmas cake as well as an edible Christmas cracker, however after debates with my tutors on what the word 'reimagine' really means I came up with a simple Christmas tree design where you pull the star off the top and the tree opens flat with treats inside.
